Reading and studying the Bible is a central part of Cornerstone. The Bible reveals to us God himself and leads us towards a true understanding of who we are and what we were made for. It's not unusual to feel daunted at this task so that's why we study the Bible together, to help each other grasp its transformational power. There is always something new to learn and we grow as we hear others' perpsectives, thoughts and insights.
We are committed to helping people change to be more like Jesus.
Real change happens at the level of the heart and then flows out into behaviour and words.
We teach and support spiritual practices that help bring about deep, lasting gospel change.
Growth Groups are made up of three or four people who meet to study, learn and grow in their faith together. Over time they work through a series of studies that move from the foundations of Christian belief and practice to more advanced studies that will equip you to lead well wherever you are in life. Growth Groups run twice a year for 6-8 week bursts.
Serving is a key part of living as a diverse community united in Jesus. We serve because in his love, Jesus serves us. We seek to adopt this same attitude and believe it's greater to serve than to receive.
There are lots of service opportunities at Cornerstone both up front and behind the scenes. If you're new, you're welcome to take your time before getting involved. If you're unsure how you could help, why not shadow someone as they serve and see how it goes? If there's a particular area of service you'd like to get involved in, let us know!

Each Sunday we run a class where we teach from the Heidelberg Catechism. The teaching is aimed at all ages and applied to life today. This is an excellent way to learn more about Christian belief and life.
