As Christians, we worship also in our giving. Our first and last prayer is one of thanksgiving, because God has already blessed us, and Cornerstone is his work above all. We are also grateful for the fellowship of our denomination, the Free Church of Scotland, which has enabled so much of what Cornerstone does, in our finances, in training, and in workers. As a result, as we grow as a congregation, we look for ways to give back. So pray with us for wisdom in managing the practical details and in considering our own congregational giving, as a response to God's grace and abundance.
We have two funds: a 'Regular Fund' and a 'Growth Fund'. Our Regular Fund supports our minister and the broader work of the denomination, and as well as essential costs around our building and manse. But ideally we would like to grow our Growth Fund, because that will enable the things that are distinctive to Cornerstone too. Being able to fund our pastoral worker entirely out of the Growth Fund, for example, would also take pressure off of the regular fund; our Growth Fund is also fundamental for supporting the Spanish work. Prayerfully consider how you divide your giving:
Regular fund (put 'Regular + lastname' in your standing order)
Growth fund (put 'Growth + lastname' in your standing order)
If you are giving regularly, please consider signing a Giftaid form (ask a deacon)! It allows charities to reclaim from HMRC 25p for every £1 you give.
We'd gratefully invite you to support the work of Cornerstone financially through a one-off gift or by standing order:
