About Us

At Cornerstone Gilmerton, we're a community of everyday people from the Gilmerton area whose lives have been transformed by the love of Jesus. We're on a journey together, learning to walk in his ways, and discovering the hope, peace, and purpose that come through him.

We believe that the message of Jesus brings clarity and meaning to life, especially in today’s world—and we’d love for you to come and see for yourself why his teachings truly are good news. No matter where you're coming from or what questions you have, you’re warmly invited to join us. There’s a place here for you.

Meet the Ross'

Colin and his family have called Gilmerton home for the past nine years. Originally from the Isle of Skye, Colin moved to Edinburgh in 1996 to study and has been part of the city ever since. He was part of the Cornerstone church planting team, sent from St Columba’s Free Church, and has served as Cornerstone’s Assistant Minister for the past five years.

Colin is married to Kat, who was born and raised in Hong Kong before moving to Edinburgh at the age of 12. Kat is a primary teacher and has also trained in Biblical counselling.

Together they have a daughter, Annie, who is five years old who attends the local school. As a family, they’re passionate about seeing lives changed by the gospel and building genuine community in Gilmerton and beyond.
