Call to Worship

Leader: Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth; break forth into joyous song and sing praises! Sing praises to the Lord with the lyre, with the lyre and the sound of melody!

All: With trumpets and the sound of the horn, make a joyful noise before the King, the Lord!

Psalm 98:4-6

Lider: Cantad alegres a Jehová, toda la tierra; Levantad la voz, y aplaudid, y cantad salmos. Cantad salmos a Jehová con arpa;

Con arpa y voz de cántico.

Todos: Aclamad con trompetas y sonidos de bocina, Delante del rey Jehová.

Salmo 98:4-6

Prayer of Adoration

Song: Psalm 118:15-29 (Sing Psalms)

Triumphant shouts of joy resound

In places where the righteous dwell.

The LORD’s right hand is lifted high;

His mighty hand does all things well.

I shall not die but I shall live;

The LORD’s great works I will proclaim.

The LORD severely chastened me,

But rescued me from death’s domain.

Throw wide the gates of righteousness;

I’ll enter and give thanks to God.

This is the gate of God, through which

The righteous come before the LORD.

You answered me, I will give thanks;

Salvation comes from you alone.

The stone the builders had refused

Has now become the cornerstone.

The LORD himself has done all this;

It is a marvel in our sight.

This is the day the LORD has made;

In it let us take great delight!

Save us, O Lord, we humbly pray,

O Lord, we pray, grant us success.

He's blessed who comes in God's great name,

You from the Lord's house we will bless.

The LORD is God, and he has made

His glorious light upon us fall.

Let us approach the altar's horns,

And celebrate the festival.

You are my God, I'll give you thanks;

You are my God, I'll give you thanks.

O thank the LORD, for his is good;

His steadfast love endures always.

Song: Grace

Verse 1

Your grace that leads this sinner home

From death to life forever

And sings the song of righteousness

By blood and not by merit

Verse 2

Your grace that reaches far and wide

To every tribe and nation

Has called my heart to enter in

The joy of Your salvation

Chorus

By grace I am redeemed

By grace I am restored

And now I freely walk

Into the arms of Christ my Lord

Verse 3

Your grace that I cannot explain

Not by my earthly wisdom

The prince of life without a stain

Was traded for this sinner

Verse 4

Let praise rise up and overflow

My song resound forever

For grace will see me welcomed home

To walk beside my Saviour

Confession and Assurance

Confession: Almighty God, who is rich in mercy to all those who call upon You; hear us as we come to You humbly confessing our sins and asking for Your mercy and forgiveness. We have broken your holy laws in our thoughts, in our words and in our actions. Have mercy upon us and forgive us through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

Assurance: The Lord is gracious and merciful, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love. The Lord is good to all and offers forgiveness through the work of Jesus Christ.

Song: Steadfast

Verse 1

I will build my house

Whether storm or drought

On the rock that does not move

I will set my hope

In Your love O Lord

And Your faithfulness will prove

Chorus

You are steadfast steadfast

Verse 2

By the word You spoke

All the starry host

Are called out by name each night

In Your watchful care

I will rest secure

As you lead us with Your light

Verse 3

I will not trust in the strength of kings

On Your promise I will stand

I will shout for joy I will raise my voice

Hallelujah to the Lamb

Bridge

In the moment of emptiness all was fulfilled

In the hour of darkness Your light was revealed

In the presence of death Your life was affirmed

In the absence of holiness You are still God

Song: Fill Thou My Life

Verse 1

Fill Thou my life, O Lord my God,

In every part with praise,

That my whole being may proclaim

Thy being and Thy ways.

Verse 2

Not for the lips of praise alone,

Not e'en the praising heart,

I ask, but for a life made up

Of praise in every part:

Verse 3

Praise in the common words I speak,

In every look and tone,

With those who share my daily toil

And those I love at home.

Verse 4

Not in the temple crowd alone,

Where holy voices chime,

But in the silent paths of earth,

The quiet rooms of time.

Verse 5

Fill every part of me with praise:

Let all my being speak

Of Thee and of Thy love, O Lord,

Poor though I be and weak.

Verse 6

So shall you, Lord, from me, even me,

Receive the glory due;

And so shall I begin on earth

The song for ever new.

Verse 7

So shall each fear, each fret, each care,

Be turned into a song;

And ev’ry winding of the way

The echo shall prolong.

Verse 8

So shall no part of day or night

From sacredness be free;

But all my life, in every step,

Be fellowship with Thee.

Benediction
